Doctor was on time, actually early, I got a shot of cortisone in my wrist for carprl tunnel. Now my next appointment is 3 months away, I can only pray this shot lasts that long. I don't think so.

I have carpel tunnel in my left hand. I had it in my right hand years ago and had the operation. Easy-peasy. I don's know why I have to wait another three months for surgery. Again, I repeat, I can only pray this shot lasts 3 months. I don't think so.

Dr proctor is excellent

Reviewed on Apr 16, 2024

I came to the office for trigger finger and tendinitis. I am type 2 diabetic and I received a cortisone injection. I expressed a lot of concern to the doctor about the injection because I know it negatively affects blood sugar. The doctor assured me I would only experience blood sugar issues for up to a week. It has been 10 days since my injection and my blood sugar is still running 350-400 even with taking double the amount of Metformin I was previously prescribed. I went to the ER once and received an insulin injection, which did not help, and now I have an appointment with my primary care doctor to adjust my medication, which has been the same for 6 years prior to receiving the injection. I believe this injection has caused a lot of issues in my life and I wholeheartedly regret it; however, I feel I had no other options.
