This was my first visit with Dr. Hershey. Dr. Hershey called me a few days later to discuss the result of my BNP/NT pro BNP blood test which was 3010 pg/mL and flagged as HIGH. I am deeply concerned and feel like I am sitting on a ticking time bomb. Dr. Hershey tried his best to soothe my fears. He assured me that I was on the Rolls Royces of medicines. Dr. Hershey spent a considerable amount of time with me on the phone explaining my heart condition to me. He told me I had atrial fibrillation and chronic diastolic heart failure. I have diminished squeezing function of the heart. I am thankful to Dr. Hershey for contacting me. I am also thankful to God that I do not have symptoms. I do not want to die yet. I still have a lot to do on my bucket list.
