About John Mansour, MD

John S. Mansour, MD, MBA, is a cardiologist in the Section of Clinical Cardiology in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He sees patients at Cleveland Clinic main campus.

In addition to office visits, Dr. Mansour also offers scheduled follow up virtual visits to select patients, through the Cleveland Clinic Express Care ® Online app. This platform allows patients to see their physician live, using their smartphone, tablet or computer.

Specialty Interests: General cardiology, coronary artery disease, dyslipidemia (lipid disorders), structural heart disease, cardiovascular disease, hypertension (high blood pressure)

Number of Patients Treated: Physicians in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute annually perform approximately 10,000 cardiac catheterizations, a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing and treating heart disease.  Dr. Mansour has performed more than 1,000 cardiac catheterizations in the past three years.

Education and Training: After earning a bachelor’s degree in management cum laude from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Mansour went on to earn a Master’s of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in 2002 and his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2006. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Mansour was named to the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2016.

About Dr. Mansour: I love practicing cardiology because I feel like it is the most rewarding field in medicine.  We have many treatment options that can help our patients that have a dramatic impact on patients’ lives, both in the acute setting and over the long term.

Leisure Activities: Dr. Mansour enjoys golf, spending time with his wife and daughter and is an avid Cleveland sports fan

I have 2 main concerns:1. I feel like I wasn't listened to when explaining my current health issues. 2. I was prescribed a medication that Ive still not received (1week later). My health is unimportant to you. I feel what is important is getting me in and out of the office rather than truly caring.
