Industry Relationships

I've seen Dr Fazekas for many years ( before she was with Cleveland Clinic). She is fabulous - it's the lack of ability to get a timely appointment with her that is the problem and it is not isolated to just her but many specialties within the Cleveland Clinic system

I had a severe outbreak of dermatitis and messaged Dr. Fazekas via MyChart. The office responded within two hours and scheduled me 48 hours later. They took my problem seriously and Their prompt response saved me a lot of discomfort and stress.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Fazekas. She's at the top of the game clinically while comfortable and easy going with patients. While she doesn't minimize problems, she gives you confidence they can be solved and careful instructions on how to do it. I really appreciate her.

I have had the utmost confidence in Dr. Fazekas since I started going to her in 2015. At my first appointment with her she did a biopsy of a mole that looked strange to her even though it wasn't a textbook example. It turned out to be a melanoma that had more bad cells under the surface that in the top layers. I have always trusted her judgement and even selected my current insurance coverage based on if she was on their list of doctors I could visit. I have some excellent doctors, but she is the best.

I am so grateful to this physician. She is thoughtful, smart and concerned for me. I feel that on every visit! She took time to assure I was seen to measure the success of my first treatment and to offer a new option for improvement. She worked to assure my new prescription was affordable thru GoodRx and talked thru use of same. I had an excellent experience and I appreciate that very much.

Dr. Fazekas was knowledgeable about my condition and she thoroughly explained everything. Additionally, Dr. Fazekas offered to provide me with samples, if I stopped by her office. I was able to pick up the items the same day as my appointment. I sincerely appreciated the samples, especially given that my problem is exasperated by the sun.

Scheduling appears to be the biggest problem with the Clinic, regardless of the department. I suspect that there are too few doctors compared to the number of patients. I've learned to make appointments at least six months in advance, and to always try to talk to a scheduler vs using MyChart.

Doctor was rushed. While identifying four biopsies on my face, she did not have time to perform them during my appointment. She said it was necessary to make another appointment and more than a month later was first appointment. I will have to make another trip of about 60 miles for the follow up appointment. Why?

Dr. Fazekas was very knowledgeable. During the appointment, she commented multiple times that she did not have time to go into a topic (ex. She suggested I use sensitive skin soap on my skin. I asked what to use on my face. She said that would take too long - need to make another appointment.) It was as if I should know my appointment was only 15 minutes and to not ask questions. This was my second or third dermatologist appointment ever and I'm not familiar with different types of appointments. If it's only 15 minutes, they should have made that clear and explained my options when I made the appointment. It was odd to feel like I was offending the doctor with each question.

Although the dr seemed very well educated and experienced in dermatology, thenDr seemed to be rushed with the exam. Maybe had more patients waiting, but I felt the quicker I got examined the quicker she could move on. But she was very direct and somewhat informative

Wait time for appointments is sometimes very long if you prefer a specific doctor Also getting thru on the phone to CCF takes a great deal of patience gettiing incorrectly routed and on hold for long periods of time. Sometimes more than 30 minutes is not uncommon.
