Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 12/11/2018, Dr. Laszlo has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. it is very hard to get appointments here, especially when you're sick and need immediate care. Most of the time lately, I end up having to go to an urgent care facility. But when I can schedule weeks in advance, everyone is polite and courteous. I have no problems with Dr. Laszlo or the care I receive from him. He is a very kind and knowledgeable person. He always takes the time to listen and doesn't just treat you like a number on a chart. He makes you feel like he cares. The only problem I have is how hard it is to get a same day appointment or even a same week appointment at the facility with any of the doctors. I don't like having to go to an urgent care where they don't know me or my health issues. I also do not like seeing a nurse practitioner. I prefer to see my family doctor only.

Had to wait several days for appointment. I had issues that required visit to Dr, Laszlo. I was put on waiting list for a cancellation which I did get a call a few days later and got in to see the doctor. I am very disappointed that it takes 2 or more weeks to get and appointment when I was hurting.

Dr. Laszlo is not my primary care physician. However, I see him when I can't get in to see Dr. Kahara. He is is compassionate and answers all of my concerns. In addition, at each visit he reminds me of preventive care practices and exams needed. I appreciate his caring patient care skills. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Dr. Peter Lazloe told me about side effects of medications and suggested ways to help alleviate fluid retention without taking the medication. He also went over side effects for other prescriptions that I was taking and needed refills on.
