I love Dr Hawwa. He is clear and concise but is concerned about my entire health picture. He even suggested some changes to my medication to improve other results.

Reviewed on Aug 20, 2019

Dr. Hawwa is an example of what a doctor should be like. You sense when he sits down with you that he actually cares about you as a person. He made me feel at ease and very comfortable. Dr. Hawwa explained the procedures that I would have to undergo and patiently answered my questions. He should give tutorials to other doctors about how you treat a patient. In my experience with Cleveland Clinic network doctors, he is one of the top three doctors I have had experience with. My other two favorites are Dr. Pozuelo and Dr. Chaitoff. The rest could use a course in "Building a Rapport and Relationships with Patients." The Clinic has a real gem in Dr. Hawwa.

I left my first appointment with this doctor feeling as though he thought it was ridiculous I was there to see him. I was very anxious about going back to him. However this appointment he was much kinder and easy to talk to after I started to joke around with him. If I had not started to joke around with him I'm not sure if he would have talked to me. I left happy though.
