Dr. Vlastaris thoughtfully explained the importance of monitoring the severity of my aortic stenosis. He explained that although my stenosis is mild/moderate now, we will continue to reevaluate it with timely stress tests and echocardiograms. My family history of heart problems and stroke makes close monitoring essential.

Things felt a little rushed to the point where I wasn't really able to explain my issues fully...it seemed that the visit was a formality and the doctor had already decided what diagnostic procedures to recommend. That being said, he is a very caring doctor and I do feel comfortable with him.

Reviewed on Aug 14, 2023

Dr. Vlastaris was excellent. He read my written explanation of my concerns (which most doctors ignore), discussed all concerns, family history and recommendations while taking into account my perspective. He was very respectful and worked with me. He did not brush me off and was not arrogant, as many doctors are. He utilized the limited time he is allotted by the Cleveland Clinic and insurance companies well. I would definitely recommend him to others.
