Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 11/1/2022, Dr. Cardona has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Cardona listened to all of my concerns and suggested a new treatment plan. She explained things very thoroughly and asked if I had any questions. I always leave feeling heard and fully informed about the next step.

There was no discussion about treatment and no questions about the condition. The provider looked at the computer for a while, made several negative comments, got up and left. She did comment that I could take all the time needed to get out of the room.

I have had very good experiences with several providers but this experience was unbelievably bad. I was stunned as I gathered up to leave.

I left this appointment feeling hopeless and angry. Never in my life have I had an experience that made me feel this way to this extent. I will be advising everyone to stay far far away from Dr. Cardona.

I felt the Dr was very matter of and had a one sided opinion of my problem. She really did not ask me questions about my problem so I'm not sure how she came upWith a diagnosis. She really didn't ask me what treatment I would or if I would like a follow up visit

I love Dr. Cardona! I travel from Erie, PA. I could probably get Botox (for migraines) locally but I love that she is my doctor

Incredibly happy with how fast we could talk to a doctor

I was there for a yearly visit and she did not examine me.

I can't say anything good about this provider. First she walked in room without introducing her self. Then she barely looked at report from MRI. I had to ask about wording on reports that she was not aware of and the shows me she did not thoroughly review. My report stated something about Intercranial lesion and Dr was clueless about it. I pulled up report and read it to her. She did not do a good job of explaining anything on report. I left totally confused on why MRI said something about a lesion but she said I don't have one. She did not provide after appt paperwork. I felt completely rushed and looked over as a human being. Horrible bedside manner to say the least.

Dr Cardona is great!

Dr. Cardona took the time to listen to all of my questions, I did not feel rushed, and she explained things well. She was kind and patient even though because of life circumstances my treatment options at this time are relatively limited and that must have been frustrating.
