Biography

About Leonor Osorio, DO

Leonor M. Osorio, DO has been on Staff at Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital practicing Internal medicine since 2001.  Dr. Osorio received her medical license from the State of Ohio in 2001

Leonor was instrumental in the opening of the Lutheran Hospital Hispanic Clinic, which connects patients to Spanish speaking physicians.   As a Hispanic physician, she has a place in her heart for the Hispanic population in Cleveland.  Her practice is focused on addressing the health needs and concerns most prevalent among the group of patients including diabetes, obesity and mental health issues like depression and anxiety.

She has found that when a patient has a primary care  physician who understands their culture and language, they have a better patient experience, better understanding of the treatment plan and ultimately lead to a better healthier life.  She understands the unique medical needs and social needs of the Spanish –speaking residence.
