Biography

About Wayne Tsuang, MD, MHS

Dr. Tsuang is a staff physician in the Respiratory Institute with a clinical practice in Lung Transplant Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He completed fellowship training at Duke University where he also received his Masters in Health Sciences degree. His research interests include studying large registry outcomes, such as the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) database to address geospatial health, health disparities, and social determinants of health. He is also a physician investigator with the NIH funded Clinical Trials in Organ Transplantation (CTOT). He serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Lerner College of Medicine and sees patients in the pre and post lung transplant clinics and in the medical intensive care unit.

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education.
