Kathleen (Katy) Martinelli, MHS, PA-C is a 2002 graduate of the Duke Physician Assistant program and has spent the last 20 years practicing mainly in orthopaedics. In May of 2023 she transitioned to her current position as part of the inpatient team that cares for lung transplant patients at the main campus.
Katy has also spent much of her career as an educator of both students and peers through her extensive lecturing at national conferences and a variety of Physician Assistant Programs around the country. Teaching is a passion of hers and she enjoys the opportunity to share her knowledge with others whenever possible.
When she is not working in the lung transplant unit here at the Cleveland Clinic, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
