Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 7/19/2018, Dr. Gordon has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. Would never recommend this physician or office. Ordered testing has been repeatedly scheduled wrong. Doctor refuses to give clear answers to any medical questions or recommendations. I have had two visits, and zero solid answers or recommendations for next steps have been provided. Have asked multiple questions about severe symptoms experienced and am only advised why they are not typical. Next steps or recommendations never provided. Absolute waste of time.

The doctor was able to see me immediately and did everything he could to get me into an office visit. Actually he went out of his way to fit me in. The real miracle is he adjusted the dosage of my medicine and I am almost completely pain free of the diagnosis given. I am extremely greatfull for his care and knowledge of the situation I was in and his quick and accurate prescription given. He rid of all my pain and I feel confident it will continue. I am extremely greatfull.

some of this did not apply as I just saw Dr. Gordon Last week and I my MRI is not scheduled till this Monday, so of course no one has gotten back to me with the results yet because it has not been taken.Dr Gordon was wonderful and I am hoping what he said works. He took his time, was very knowledgeable and sympathetic to my health concerns. It was only my first visit but he seems to be an excellent Doctor. I do wish you could schedule out more though. I have to wait and call back to schedule they said.

Dr. Gordon fully explained to me about what can be causing my headaches. The only thing is he could not pull up my MRI that I had done last April by a branch of the Cleveland clinic in my area, so he could not look that up to see my cyst. it is ok though because I knew I was do for another MRI which he ordered.
