Biography

About Isabelita Guadiz, MD

Isabel Guadiz received her Doctor of Medicine degree with honors from the Univ of Sto Tomas in Manila, Philippines and pediatric residency at the Mt Sinai Hosp with required three months annual rotations at Rainbows Babies and Children Hospital.  She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1980.  She believes in listening attentively to concerns of and partnering with parents in nurturing children to wellness and achieving their full potentialities in life. She is passionate about lifelong learning and has strong interests in school health, family support, injury prevention and safety, autism, mental wellness and spirituality of children.  She is active in Church and volunteers in many social justice issues.

Dr. Guadiz is excellent! So personable with the kids! It's THEIR appt. and she makes them feel that way. My son was very anxious about his flu shot. The doctor and staff were very patient and kind to him.

Dr. Guadiz is the best. I feel 100% comfortable with her taking care of my children. She shows concern for the kids and even takes time to celebrate their successes. She listens to the parent as well as the child. She is obviously doing exactly what she was created for. I don't know what we would do without her!

Dr. Guddiz is an excellent doctor. My only concern is the amount of time we have to wait EVERY TIME usually 50 minutes!
