Dr Jacobs is awesome one of my favorite Drs. his nurses are very friendly.I would recommend him to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

My experience with Dr. Jacobs was very pleasant. He is cordial, thorough. When I made my appointment, I had trouble transferring my records from my previous doctor and Kayla, who had answered my call, helped me by calling herself and making sure that the records were transferred. I had tried with three phone calls to my previous doctor at University Hospitals with no success. SO she was WONDERFUL. My only comment is that Dr. Jacobs did not review my records before he saw me, so when I was in the office he then proceeded to look them up on the computer and discuss them with me. I felt, being a new patient, that should have been done prior to my visit. As far as my visit, and after he read the records, he is a great doctor and I look forward to having him as my regular cardiologist. He is a knowledgeable man and very pleasant. Made me very comfortable. I look forward to regular 6mo visits with him.

I'd like to see a little more concern about side effects, I don't know if it matters if you have side effects. all docs seem to go to another drug but they all have the seem side effects and I end up spending a lot of money on pills that don't work.

Dr Jacobs was very patient and carefully reviewed all information concerning my tests to be sure I understood the results. his technical and nursing staff was polite and also took time to explain each procedure. overall the experience was most productive. I would highly recommend Dr. Avrum Jacobs to anyone needing similar cardiac medical care.

Provider gave me lots of information in an area I'm not familiar with, this is very critical in future health decisions I will be making. Would have helped to have this info written/recorded somehow; perhaps in My Chart so I can refer back to it.

Dr Jacobs seemed overall less interested in the recent visit than expected . His exam was quite cursory and we had to ask about follow up plans as he was leaving the exam room. The visit was rather disappointing .
