Had a wonderful experience love seeing Dr Shewbridge

Reviewed on Oct 26, 2020

Love this doctor, it's great that he has nutritional knowledge too and can recommend vitamins and diet changes instead of drugs. Most doctors don't know anything about nutrition.

Reviewed on Aug 26, 2020

This was my first visit with Dr. Shewbridge, he was very good at explaining the need for the medication I was taking. Wanted to make sure all my questions had been answered, I did not feel like I had to hurry because they had other patients to see. The experience was much better that other appoints at the Clinic in past years

Underestimated my concerns over extreme low & high blood sugars when Caresource changed my insulin from Novolog to their generic Novolog. Would like CCF MEDINA to make a computer accessible to patients to download blood sugar readings once a month. I cannot get my Novolog insulin until July 1st. Doctors have to advocate for patients when insurance companies interfere with my doctor patient relationship. Aren't enough hours in the day for doctors to chase after insurance companies. Rather do a more in depth analysis like your physical therapy department does with their questionnaire. CCF & UH both have terrible phone systems, don't blame staff for that!!!

Reviewed on Jun 17, 2020

Up against a brick wall when insurance companies tie my doctors hands. I had the best A1c in February & Caresource ruined that by changing my insulin that caused erratic blood sugars. I almost had to call EMS twice from extreme highs & lows since being forced to use generic Novolog.

Dr Shewbridge's team is great, been going to them for many years. He noticed I lost a few pounds, but your printout shames us for being in the wrong BMI range. It would be nice if your printouts said: "Congratulations on moving towards your weight loss goal, keep up the good work" & what can we do to keep you motivated? It is extremely difficult for Type 1 diabetics to safely lose weight.
