Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 6/4/2020, Dr. Zhu has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. I often tell people about my many good experiences at Cleveland Clinic, especially the personal care I get from Dr. Zhu.

People on the phone at DR Zhu's Office always listen as I describe the problem. They ask questions about the situation to make sure they understand my issue and I always get a return phone call that same day.

I really appreciate Dr. Zhu and the way she takes her time and includes me in all decisions regarding my plan of care.

I am concerned about the level of care during this covid epidemic. It seems things get minimized due to the fact facilities do not want in person visits. I feel things are being diagnosed over the phone/virtual that may not be correct or late. Checkups, however, as in the case with my visit with Dr. Zhu was very satisfactory. I liked her very much and felt she answered all of my concerns. She and I both hope we can meet in person for the next checkup in 6 mos.

I really appreciate my Dr. Zhu. She is always so friendly and quick to answer my questions with good detail. She also impresses me with her ability to make me feel that she is truly interested in me and my health and is not in a hurry to move on to her next appointment.
