As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr. Zhu is one of the best doctors I've ever had. Despite being extremely busy, she always listens and is very thorough. She takes the time to consider the needs of her patients and is very kind. She would be a great doctor for anyone who has had previous bad experiences or suffers from anxiety associated with a medical facility. I would highly recommend her.

I have been coming to Dr. Zhu for a long time. I love her eye contact, bedside manner, her listening ability, and especially her "never rushing me". My questions and her answering are a comfortable and concerned atmosphere. I ask a lot of questions, and Dr. Zhu always lets me ask and answers with compassion.

Dr. Zhu is an asset to the CCF. She treats me as a person & not a medical condition. She listened to me & went out of her way to provide for all my concerns. She saw me at the end of day & never tried to rush me through my appointment. I?m in the best hands with Dr. Zhu. The Clinic is very fortunate to have such a doctor.

Dr. Zhu had been recommended to me by two friends. After meeting with her and discussing my concerns, I was very glad I had taken their advice. She listened to me and made suggestions. I appreciated her patience and demeanor. She is very calm and definitely knowledgeable. I look forward to becoming one of her patients.

Dr. Zhu is very nice and knowledgeable and has a great communication style. My only suggestion for room for improvement is that she is a bit quick to refer health issues to other providers instead of doing an initial evaluation herself and the physical exam portion of the yearly physical could be more thorough.
