Dr Babiuch listens and explains everything. Don't feel like a number

It was a rough start for seeing a retina specialist at the clinic. 1st Dr was on his last day when I met with him. My nectar appt was set with Dr who was going on maternity leave and scheduled me with Dr Baubich. She had been great. She answered whatever questions I have to the best of her ability. I do understand that what I am dealing with is not fixable and is a manged process. She too conveys the seriousness and hard realities with care and empathy. She is personable, and will engage in friendly banter as time allows. She appears to be a very busy Dr. I appreciate her efforts to keep me seeing.

I admire and respect Dr. Babiuch beyond my ability to describe effectively how I feel She is such an expert in her field, yet listens to my concerns and experiences with my health. She is also a very nice, caring person. I wish all doctors had the empathy that Dr. Babiuch has for her patients. I love that she really listens and considers my thoughts and concerns and tries to figure alternatives for treatment, when necessary.

I loved the fact that her staff "interviewed" me first to get my feelings about the treatment of my eye problem. They were so considerate to read their notes back to me for my approval that they were putting into words what I meant for Dr. Babiuch to know. They were careFul to be exacting and truthful. I think it speaks well of Dr. Babiuch to let me express my feelings with them, so she would know how I was feeling before she saw me at our appointment. She is also very thorough when covering my medical history. She is WONDERFUL!!
