Industry Relationships

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 7/24/2020, Dr. Stojic has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. I was very happy with Dr. Stojic

Reviewed on Jul 30, 2020

He's a good guy and a very very bright doctor. I felt I had his full attention up to the end of the call. When I started discussing my ongoing problem with side effects from meds I'm taking, he did not weigh in, so @ end of call I felt I was in my own with that issue. In his defense, I did feel I had his attention up to that point and he gave me a big chunk of his time. but I am noticing a similarity with your specialists: they know what they know and they don't venture out of their exact area of expertise.

Dr Stojic is rare find in a provider bother caring and compassionate as very as excellent in his field and delays this in both verbal and none verbal communication. we were very impressed with the thorough review of Dave's records before each appointment!! we are please God lead us to such a special practitioner during a challenging heath crisis.

It was different but since my. Since my visit to really more conversations then physical exams the video visits allowed me to sit in my own environment and talk to the doctor which is very comfortable

Reviewed on Jun 11, 2020

there was some confusion whether visit was telephone vs. visual. same thing happened with primary Physician. when making appointment, I was asked which I preferred. I chose telephone. it turned out to be virtual visit which was fine.

no problem describing my issues with the doctor

Reviewed on Jun 11, 2020

Dr Stojic took as much time as I needed to understand my diagnosis and his recommendations for treatment.

Reviewed on Jun 11, 2020

Virtual visits don't work well for all medical specialties, but in this case it worked very well. Dr Stojic didn't need to examine me personally & he was very patient with my questions. I do prefer face time to a static picture of the doctor.

Reviewed on Jun 8, 2020

the doctor was very attentive, NOT IN A HURRY, and thorough

My appointment with Dr. Stojic was done by phone, due to the virus. He asked a lot of questions concerning my well being since my last visit and also added more refills. He will be calling me within a year for my next appointment.

Reviewed on Sep 24, 2019

we are very pleased and proud of Doctor Stojic for listening to us. I told Doctor Stojic that I would be honored to meet Dr. Good, my husband's epileptic neurologist that he had had for approximately 39 years , but since Dr. Good is retired I probably will not get that honor. but Dr. Good is good. He is exactly right about my husband's medication, And we are very proud and grateful to Doctor Stojic for listening to us, and honoring his predecessor, Dr. Good, because Dr.Good is GOOD!
