Words cannot describe how much I respect and trust in Dr. Eisengart. Yes, he has saved my eyesight but he represents so much more than just a technician. Dr. Eisengart is exemplary when it comes to taking a personal stake in his patients... personally and professionally. I have absolute confidence in Dr. Eisengart and highly recommend him

Reviewed on Jul 10, 2020

Dr. Eisengart did cataract surgery on my right eye in April, 2019. I was VERY happy with the results of that procedure, and my vision improved almost immediately. Gradually, I began having trouble seeing when the light in a room is not bright. This return visit to him is because my optometrist discovered a secondary cataract in the same eye 14 months later. I was able to quickly get an appointment with Dr. Eisengart. My 2 ratings for five of the seven questions here are because I did not feel like Dr. Eisengart heard my concerns; ultimately, he recommended I get new glasses. I went back to the optometrist to order those, and when that doc looked at the 'new' prescription, there was almost NO difference between it and what's in my glasses. SO, I decided not to spend the $. Dr. Eisengart was short and snappish with me -- I may not come back.

Dr. was also very professional and knowledgable. Made me feel confident in his ability to take care of my vision problems.

The last two times I visited Dr Eisengart were unusual. he seemed irritated, bothered with my explanations to his questions that I was very clear on. I'm wondering if we need to part ways. Wait time was a little long for a short time with physician

Reviewed on Feb 5, 2020

the doctor seemed extremely capable and intelligent but he seemed much more interested in putting his face in the computer. he seemed annoyed at my questions as if I was bothering him and seemed annoyed that I wanted to be seen buy my normal doctor for the injection he was recommending. he just wanted to put me with any doctor for the injection which I'm sure is fine but I should have been allowed to attempt timely scheduling with my normal doctor and if unable to get a timely appointment have somebody else do it. this was eventually what occurred. he seemed very annoyed that I wanted a doctor familiar with my underlying disease that cause my issues. I understand any doctor could give the injection but it is important to me to have one familiar with my disease I don't think that's too much to ask and I further understand that my doctor doesn't treat the disease he treats 1 issue but I think it's important to have someone familiar with the disease. and unfortunately this seemed to be an issue with Dr eisengart. he is extremely intelligent but maybe should remember we're patient's and just because we ask questions to understand what is needed and what he is finding doesn't mean we are being difficult. he should be happy that we are being active in our own care.

Reviewed on Jan 28, 2020

I selected Dr. Eisengart for a second opinion about whether or not I absolutely need cataract surgery. It was his opinion that the condition did not present as needing to be done at this time. He further stated that it was his opinion that I would not obtain the desired results if he performed the surgery soon. I will make another appointment with him in one year per his request. I would also like to praise Dr. Eisengart for providing me with two prescriptions. One for working on computers with bifocal, and the other for driving and everyday locomotion. I received the prescriptions today and could not be happier with the strength of both set of glasses! I cannot believe that my other eye doctor never remedied my "work" eye sight problems by suggesting I have a weaker set of glasses for computer work. I suffered unnecessarily for years trying to do computer work. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Eisengart for his diagnosis and wisdom exhibited in his practice.

During past appointments with this doctor, he seemed attentive and personal. This appointment, he seemed distracted, concerned more with entering information into the computer and he and his "scribe" seemed annoyed that I asked questions about my condition. Apparently the timing of my questions were disturbing his entering info on the computer. Doctor and the "scribe", who was not scribing at all, both told me that my questions will be answered after he entered his information. I felt scolded for having questions about my condition.

Doctor thoroughly explained results of that days test, I was very encouraged because Doctor said result was a little better this time. We spoke for a few moments about current treatment and test I will have at next visit. Doctor mentioned a new eye drop that has become available that may help and I am going to continue on with current drops. My reason for mentioning this is I really appreciate Doctor's advice and care but also how he listens to my wishes about treatments.
