Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute

Excellence in patient care, teaching and research

Founded in 1921 with the Cleveland Clinic itself, the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute's (GUKI) activities encompass a unique combination of high-volume and challenging clinical cases, extensive basic and translational scientific efforts, and innovative laboratory research conducted in an environment that nurtures the future leaders of its specialties. Located on Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus and at multiple locations in Northeast Ohio – as well as additional locations in Florida, Toronto, London and Abu Dhabi – the Glickman Institute offers innovative treatments including minimally invasive, scarless options for urologic procedures and medical management of kidney disease.

We are nationally ranked for our urology care, and Cleveland Clinic is recognized throughout the world for its expertise and care. In addition, the urology residency program maintains a No. 1 ranking by Doximity. Similarly, the Kidney Medicine Department continues to garner national attention for its involvement in groundbreaking research and patient-centered initiatives.

With emphasis on screening, prevention and patient-centered wellness alongside disruptive thought, high-impact research and therapies, and a commitment to training, GUKI will define the next 100 years of care.
