Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 11/14/2017, Dr. Ng has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. *Dr. Ng is genuinely the best doctor in the universe! She is understanding & kind. She explains things well. I actually look forward to seeing her & her staff every 6 months.

Dr. Ng is a very effective communicator and her patient f/u instructions and patient education topics are easy to understand. Provides clear verbal info as well as written supports. Both methods are very helpful.

My wife and I have been going to Ng for years and absolutely love her. The only problem is with making appointmtents, her calendar is really far out. We don't have emergency/immediate needs so this is not a problem. I, being one of her Mellanoma patients have ALWAYS been told if I had an issue, call immediately and she would make accomodations.

I had a list of concerns (I have multiple counts of skin cancer in my family history, which the provider is aware of) and the provider told me to "limit my list of concerns to 4." ????? Also the descriptions and suggested treatments for my concerns were very vague. Rushed. Somewhat brushed off.

excellent care and communication

Dr. Ng listens to my thoughts attentively and develops treatment plans based on my questions and concerns as much as possible.

I greatly appreciate Dr. Ng's gentle approach to healthcare, her ability to explain conditions, treatment, and testing in simple terminology, and the time she takes to review treatment options. She was quick to share test results with me through MyChart, as promised, and her follow up note was easy to understand.

I have always had a positive experience when I have an appointment with Dr. Ng. She is always professional and yet very personable. She genuinely cares about you, any concerns you may have and what you have to say. I cannot think of ever going to another dermatologist!!!
