Very helpful; focused on "this is where we're at, this is where we want to be, and this is how we are going to get there." Did not weight shame me or patronize me like many other doctors I have seen. Admitted that weight loss is hard. Listened when I explained why I was taking or not taking a certain medication, and took the time to look into exactly what I had been previously prescribed by other physicians.

Lisa Bartlett has been the only person who has been able to reign in my Diabetes and get the control within 6 (A1C) - consistently.

I love her. I mean LOVE her. She is one of the best health care providers I have ever had. Ever. She listens to me, and makes recommendations that I feel are good for what I can handle. She does not seem to judge me, which makes it easy to be honest with her. She pushes when I need it, but does not talk down to me, teases and is silly sometimes. She remembers odd little things too, like the clothes I like to wear most often. Most importantly, she tells me my choices, explains what is best, but lets me make my own decisions about what to do. I am moving out of state soon, and honestly, I wish I could take her with me. I am going to really hate losing her as a health care provider. Lisa Bartlett is the best.

She not only verbally gives you instructions, she types them out and gives you a copy to take home.
