Biography

About Jacek Cywinski, MD

Jacek B. Cywinski, MD, was born in Wroclaw, Poland, where he earned a medical degree at the University of Wroclaw School of Medicine. Dr. Cywinski is board-certified in anesthesiology. His clinical and research interests include anesthesia for vascular and liver transplantation surgery, intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography, as well as preoperative patient evaluation and optimization. He is also certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.

Dr. Cywinski is an active member of several professional societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists and the International Liver Transplantation Society. In addition, he has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings.
 
Dr. Cywinski has authored several published research articles as well as four book chapters.
