My experience with Dr. Horowitz was extremely good. She understood why I was there and wanted to help. She recommended an x-ray, which I was able to do immediately a good thing plus, she was very pleasant and courteous plus was that she actually looked at me and not just the computer.

I needed a new PCP because mine retired and had to wait 5 months. However this is standard wait time or longer at CCF for over 2 years now that if you need to see a new doctor for any reason wait times are often 6+ months.

This was a first time meeting Dr. Amy Horwitez, she informed me because I was 9 minutes late. My time with her was cut down to 20 minutes over the original 40 minutes.

Overall great first experience with Dr Horwitz. I did speak with an intern first, and in some cases it feels like you have to repeat quite a bit once the actual Dr comes in. I have that experience often at CCF, I understand it, but sometimes things get lost in translation.

Dr. Horwitz is a good listener and a very good communicator. She explains things, asks me if I have questions, if I do, she answers them in ways I can understand. I often have questions and she is very good at helping me understand why she Is suggesting the treatment she proposes. I feel very confident that she has my best interest at heart. I particularly like the fact that she brings in a pharmacist to evaluate my medications and I was able to talk to the pharmacist about my medications and the proposed changes. It gave me confidence that the choices that were being made were good ones. The pharmacist helped me understand the way to inject the proposed medication and addressed my concerns. I appreciate their collaoration on my case.

I was delayed in arriving for my appointment. Dr. Horwitz was responsive and reassuring and involved me in thinking through treatment options. I have had several physicians over the years. Dr. Horwitz is the best physician I have had. She develops great rapport and meets patients where they are. I also appreciate that she is a DO and can offer treatment options that others might not be able to provide.
