About Kathrin Nicolacakis, MD

Dr. Nicolacakis is a Staff physician in the Pulmonary Department of the Respiratory Institute since early 2010.  She is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner College of Medicine and a diplomat in pulmonary medicine of the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

She serves as the Director for Medical Compliance, Billing and Reimbursement for the Respiratory Institute.

Dr. Nicolacakis has practiced general pulmonary and critical care medicine in the Cleveland area for more than 20 years.  Her interests include general pulmonary medicine, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, and lung cancer, evaluation of cough and abnormal X-rays or Chest CT findings.   She has also been elected by her peers to the Best Doctors in America since 2011.

Outstanding physician, she cares so much for her patients,communicates quickly with me thru MY CHART if I need help. Entire office staff and physician are excellent. I was told that instead of 3-5 business days to respond in MyChart, the goal of this office is 3 hours. And, they do meet their goal.
