Our pediatric nurses are trained to care for children with the most severe problems and to assist our young patients and families as they navigate the numerous challenges they may face. What We Treat
Nurses working in Cleveland Clinic Children’s are trained to deliver some of the most specialized pediatric care available in the world. Your child’s pediatric nursing team may consist of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nursing students, and Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs).
Each pediatric unit has a full team of its own dedicated nursing specialists who work with physicians, therapists, social workers and child life professionals exclusively trained in the care of infants and children. We also have 24-7 in-house attending physician coverage for our pediatric and neonatal ICU.
