Thank you for choosing Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital. The following information is provided for our patients and their visitors to help make for a more comfortable stay. Find information on contacting a patient, visiting hours, medical records, and rights and responsibilities.
Contact a Patient
To contact a patient, call 330.343.3311. The patient’s first and last names are required.
If that patient is listed in the hospital directory, the call will be transferred to the patient's phone. If that patient has opted out of the directory, and the caller does not already know the phone extension number, the call will not be connected. If a patient chooses to opt out of the hospital directory, it is the responsibility of the patient or family to inform desired callers of the patient's telephone extension number.
Visiting Guidelines and Hours
If the patient's room number is not already known, visitors should stop at the Information Desk inside the Main Entrance. If listed in the directory, the patient’s room number and telephone extension number will be provided to visitors who inquire about the patient by name. Condition reports are no longer available.
If the patient has OPTED OUT of the directory, the hospital will not provide any information about that patient or even acknowledge the patient is in the hospital.
The Main Entrance doors are locked each night at 8 p.m. Visitors may exit through those doors at any time. After 8 p.m., enter the hospital through the Emergency Department entrance.
