Eva LeWitt, a 38-year-old artist known for producing vibrant sculptures using commercial and industrial pliable materials which she casts, dyes, cuts and arranges into hanging geometric forms with a broad color palette was commissioned to create a piece specifically for Mentor Hospital.

Mentor Hospital’s imaging capabilities include X-Ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound.
Mentor Hospital has four state-of-the-art operating rooms.
Patients coming to the hospital for scheduled appointments or emergency room visits will all enter through the main entrance.
Every inpatient room at Mentor Hospital is outfitted with a high-resolution camera and TV to facilitate consultations with specialists at other Cleveland Clinic locations.
Designers collaborated with Mentor safety forces in the design of the ambulance entrance, which includes a canopy to protect from inclement weather.
To create a calm and healing environment for our patients and visitors, we filled the space with light and beauty — from the stunning artwork in the hospital atrium to the abundance of natural light on all levels, which helps boost wellness.
