Friday, October 12, 2018 - The Madison, Cleveland

Thanks to the generosity of nearly 500 people who attended “The Social: An Evening of Hope,” Cleveland Clinic cancer patients will benefit from free services that address the emotional, mental and financial needs that go along with their diagnosis.

100% of the evening's proceeds support critical patient services for Cleveland Clinic cancer patients. These important services, which are not covered by insurance, are free to patients and include offerings such as wigs and caps to address hair loss from chemotherapy, massage and facial treatments, psychosocial support, and lodging and transportation. As a nonprofit healthcare organization, Cleveland Clinic is thankful for the support from events like this that helps make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Guests at The Social enjoyed savory food and spirit pairings in a cocktail party-like atmosphere and browsed unique items at the boutique-style Hope Shop. A special video presentation and tribute from grateful patients conveyed their appreciation for the Patient Services program. The evening continued with a food truck serving late-night munchies as the crowd mingled.

If you missed the event but would like to support these critical patient support services, you may donate online.
