CENEGERMIN (SEN jur min) treats neurotrophic keratitis, a condition that causes damage to the clear outer layer of the eye (cornea). It works by healing and repairing the nerves in the eye.

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
This medication is only for use in the eye. Follow the directions on the prescription label. Wash hands before and after use. Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down with your index finger to form a pouch. Try not to touch the tip of the dropper to your eye, fingertips, or any other surface. Squeeze the drop into the pouch. Blink for a few moments to spread the drops. Use exactly as directed. Use your doses at regular intervals. Do not use your medication more often than directed.
Talk to your care team about use of this medication in children. While this medication may be prescribed for children as young as 2 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

If you miss a dose, use the next dose at your regular time. Do not use double or extra doses.
Interactions are not expected.

Visit your care team for regular eye exams. Ask your care team if you should continue to use this medication if you injure your eyes or need eye surgery. If you develop an eye infection, contact your care team immediately.
If you wear contact lenses, you should not put this medication in your eyes while wearing the lenses. After using the eye drops, wait about 15 minutes before putting lenses in your eyes.
You can use other eye medications while using this medication; however you should wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication.
