CROTALIDAE IMMUNE FAB (kroe TAL i dee i MUNE fab) treats the symptoms of snakebites from pit vipers (crotalid) including rattlesnakes, copperheads, and cottonmouths (water moccasins). It works by binding to the snake’s venom in your body. This stops tissue injury and prevents worsening symptoms. It does not reverse effects that have already occurred.
