Description

The Cleveland Clinic Breast Center aims to develop a targeted microbiome biorepository, with the goal of collecting specimens in the sterile method required to preserve the integrity of the microbiome within breast cancer patients. Differences will be studied in the microbiome specimens, comparing between those with breast cancer, those at higher risk for breast cancer, and those without breast cancer. This will be assessed by collecting blood, stool, urine, and tissue, when applicable.
