Description

Description

The purpose of this project is to develop and evaluate new software and hardware for studying brain and spine tissue physiology using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

MRI can be used to noninvasively study the brain and spine using different techniques. By testing the different techniques in this study, scientists can find ways to improve the images that are collected from MRI scans. They can also improve methods for collecting data from the images before, during, and after the scan.

The information we get from this research will lead to improved clinical and research MRI techniques. Scientists will be able to conduct further studies based on the techniques developed under this project.
