Description
This is an early feasibility study to assess the safety and effectiveness of a nerve stimulation pain management technique using the Medtronic Intellis nerve stimulator. The purpose of this study is to test whether the new treatment technique can control pain after chest surgery.
Inclusion Criteria
- Patient undergoing pulmonary surgery by open thoracotomy or thorascopy with or without robotic assistance
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients with electrical implant such as a pacemaker
- Patients with elevated risk of infection or bleeding
