Doctor had wonderful bed side manners and showed he cared about me getting relief

Dr. Cherian seems to be well respected by his peers. He lacked warmth and communication skills. I will continue on with him if that's what his plans are only because he is well respected by his peers. His interactions with me were minimal and his "go to" medical explanation for my symptoms, repeatedly, was an airplane flying and losing the power of one engine. I'm not an airplane nor pilot so his explanation was difficult to follow. I had many questions but his patience for communication with me was minimal at best. I have NO idea for what he has planned for treatment at this point. I also have not heard anything from the practitioner Dr Cherian referred my case to for local evaluation. I'm so confused.

Reviewed on Feb 28, 2024

He spent a lot of time with me which was beyond my expectations. He was thorough in his questions to know of my concerns. I guess what I should have asked when asked if I had any questions was "What exactly is my diagnosis?" He did inform me my current headaches are caused by neck but I do not know what is wrong with my neck. Is it my nerves, my muscles, my spine? Are all my issues ie; dizziness, vertigo, nausea, fatigue migraine aura (while driving) caused from my neck? The explanation given was that my tinnitus was most likely originally caused from a viral infection and then at the me of the exam that my neck was causing the headaches. Dr. Cherian spent so much time with me and never appears rushed so at the end of the appointment I felt bad my issues took so long to discuss that I failed to ask the questions of what is wrong with my neck and why?
