Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 2/18/2017, Dr. Minzter has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. I've been going to pain management for some time now and always had very pleasant experience when I go love the staff and my doctor. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends

This was my first visit with Dr. Minzter. She is truly a great model of what a skilled, bright, caring and deeply compassionate physician can look like. I feel she took the necessary time to really listen to me and try and identify the issues I needed help with. Despite the fact that Dr. Minzter won't ultimately be the one working with me, I would definitely have no hesitation recommending her to anyone in need of a great pain care specialist. Truly a gem of a physician.

Dr Minzter is an amazing doctor. She treats me like a human being and not just a patient. She takes time to listen to me and has listened better than any other doctor at the Cleveland clinic. She helps try to find real answers to my pain and does her best to provide relief. I have recommended many people to her and will continue to do so. She is amazing and I absolutely love her! She is an excellent model for all doctors!

My selections about the wait are just a fact-- Dr. Mintzer is worth the wait. She is busy with patients, and if she is as kind to them as she is to me, she makes the time to sit, listen, educate, discuss, and won't rush out of the room until I feel ok and all my questions have been answered. I know that what I'm waiting for is a doctor who takes time with her patients beause it makes all the difference in how they feel overall. The Cleveland Clinic is blessed to have her.
