In 2019, the Pediatric Infectious Diseases consult service performed 27 pre-transplant evaluations on solid organ (N=23) and bone marrow (N=4) transplant candidates, ensuring that patients received necessary vaccinations and optimal antimicrobial prophylaxis. In total, 17 transplants were performed in 2019.
