Cromolyn is a nasal spray that treats symptoms of allergies like sneezing or a runny nose. It decreases inflammation in your nose and reduces substances in your body that release to cause allergy symptoms. The brand name of this medication is Nasalcrom®.
CROMOLYN (KROE moe lin) treats allergy symptoms such as sneezing, itching, or runny or stuffy nose. It works by reducing the release of substances in your body that cause allergy symptoms, which decreases inflammation in the nose and makes it easier to breathe. It belongs to a group of medications called mast cell stabilizers.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

Use this medication in the nose. Do not take by mouth. Follow the directions on the package label. Use your medication at regular intervals. Do not use it more often than directed. Make sure that you are using your nasal spray correctly. Ask your care team if you have any questions.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.
Interactions are not expected.

Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Do not freeze. Throw away any unused medication after the expiration date.
