Do you offer support for employees who need to travel for care?

Yes. For services like our Centers of Excellence and Executive Health programs, we offer full travel coordination support. This can include: 

  • Concierge scheduling
  • Assistance with flights, lodging and ground transportation
  • Streamlined intake and discharge planning
    We aim to minimize time away from work and ensure a smooth, stress-free experience.

Can a family member or caregiver accompany the patient?

Absolutely. We encourage family involvement in care. Travel arrangements can be extended to include a companion and our teams will help coordinate accommodations and access to clinical updates during the visit. 

What languages are supported for non-English speakers?

Cleveland Clinic provides access to interpretation services in more than 200 languages, including American Sign Language (ASL). These services are available during virtual and in-person visits to ensure clear, culturally competent communication for all patients. 

Are your programs available to employees based outside the United States?

In many cases, yes. We work with global employers and can provide Virtual Second Opinions, Clinical Review and coordination for international patients traveling to the U.S. for treatment at Cleveland Clinic. Please contact us to determine eligibility and logistics based on the country of residence and regulatory considerations. 

Can Cleveland Clinic coordinate with international health plans or payers?

Yes. We have experience working with international insurers, embassies and global TPAs. We will collaborate to manage authorizations, billing and continuity of care to support international employees and their families. 

Is virtual care available across time zones?

Yes. Our Virtual Second Opinion team works with employers to accommodate global time zones, ensuring your employees can access care at times convenient to them. We also provide asynchronous review options when real-time consultation is challenging. 

Can international dependents access Cleveland Clinic services?

Any services for international participants must be negotiated separately with CCF.
