Christine L. Jellis is Vice Chair of Operations for Cleveland Clinic’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute and Associate Chief of Staff of Physician Alignment. In these roles, she oversees Institute operations, physician and APP recruitment, alignment and engagement. A staff cardiologist specializing in multimodality cardiac imaging, Dr. Jellis is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
Previously, she was Director of Physician Alignment and Associate Program Director of the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Jellis earned her medical degree from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She completed her residency and cardiology fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and a doctorate in cardiac imaging at The University of Queensland. She also holds an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
She’s authored 100+ papers in peer-reviewed cardiology and cardiac imaging journals and regularly presents at medical conferences worldwide. Dr. Jellis is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She is the Professional Advancement Council representative on the Cleveland Clinic Enterprise Board of Governors and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cleveland Clinic Quality Alliance.
