Ronan Mangcucang Factora, MD, is Staff at the Center for Geriatric Medicine, Medicine Institute; Program Director for the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship; and Associate Professor of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Factora is a diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine, with added qualifications in geriatric medicine. His clinical interests include dementia and related disorders, normal pressure hydrocephalus, falls, and elder abuse.
Dr. Factora received his medical degree from the Ohio State University, College of Medicine and Public Health, Columbus, Ohio. He completed his internal medicine residency at Montefiore Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Penn. and a geriatrics fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland.
He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Geriatrics Society, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr Factora and the nurse were so kind to my husband who suffers from Dementia. Dr spoke to me as his caregiver and showed concern for my husband and me.

Dementia is such a horrible illness that is not handled very well by many physicians. It is wonderful that a doctor like Dr Factora and his staff are available for patients and their families.

Dr. Facror's fellow in gerontology, Dr. Chitra Ganta, made the main evaluation. He was meticulous on her physical team, asked the right questions, and answered my questions and concerns. Dr. Factora came in at the end and listened to me with his stethoscope.

We have seen Dr. Factora in the past but this recent visit he was rude and did not follow standard recommendations for dementia patients he was rude and disrespectful to family. As a NP work worked at the Clinic for a decade I was extremely disappointed at the care received.
