Dr. Dorsky earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York City. He completed a surgery internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. His specialty interests include gastrointestinal surgery, breast surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, laparoscopic surgery.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry.
