Biography

About Jonathan Myles, MD

Jonathan Myles, MD, is a Staff Pathologist in the Department of Anatomic Pathology, located on the main campus of Cleveland Clinic. He was appointed in 1993 after serving as Associate  Professor of Pathology at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. He completed a combined residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, with subspecialty training in cardiovascular pathology, at the Division of Laboratory Medicine of Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Myles’ special interests include anatomic, clinical, cardiac, renal and lymph node pathology.

Dr. Myles received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo. He was selected for an American Medical Association Nutrition Fellowship as a medical student from New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston.

He has served as co-investigator of two National Institute on Drug Abuse research trials on cardiotoxicity of cocaine. He has received numerous awards including the Medical Student Research Award and Golden Apple Award, from the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Myles has served as a Physician Monitor for both the State Medical Board of Ohio and the Ohio Physicians Health Program. He is a Diplomate of Anatomic/Clinical Pathology of the American Board of Pathology, and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education.
