Dr Spindler is one of the most caring empathic Dr I have ever met. He's always present and listening.

My appointment w/ Dr Spendler the first time was easy. The second time it was difficult because CC cancelled It & I rescheduled it w/the PA to get the cortisone shot. Even that caused anxiety. I was at a very high pain level w/my knee & I had to insist on an appointment. Now that I have an HMO it will probably difficult too.

Dr. Spindler was prefesinal and caring about me and my recovery from surgery.

Dr. Spindler was outstanding. It would be my hope that there were more doctors like him. Funny things impressed me. When he was speaking with me he got down and sat on the bottom rung of the examination table. He wasn't standing, looking down at me. I was seated and he came down to my level so we were "eye to eye". My conversation with him went outside the normal range. I was there to take the first step in scheduling a knee replacement. He not only concurred, he explained why it was time to do the surgery, i.e. Bone, on bone, how the condition of that damaged knee was affecting my posture and more importantly my balance. He created a clear path for me what the next steps would be and how we were going to proceed (he was going to connect with Dr Patel). He provided service above and beyond the call of duty. I was there for my knee but I was worried that my foot was actually broken and just in case I brought along the disk of my previous xray. He graciously looked at it and said "no broken bones, but there is significant arthritis" and he talked with me about what I could do about it, i.e. See the CC rheumatic (can't spelll). He gently talked with me about why I should buy/change my shoes. When I say gently, he did it in such a way I didn't get defensive or embarrassed about the shoes I was wearing. He explained why the shoes were important, something I always knew but he showed me why I should make the change (p.s. I bought new shoes from OrthoFeet that both cushion and give me more support). He laughed at my one joke. He is a great doctor and I think that comes from being a really good human being who genuinely cares about his patients. At the end, he personally gave me his card and told me if I had a problem I could call him anytime. That rarely happens these days and that was meaningful to me. Could we please "clone" him.

I was extremely pleased in the manner in which the doctor took the time and effort in carefully explaining the extent of my injuries , to prevent reoccurrence and need for therapy to heal the injury.
