He's a very caring doctor and has a lot of knowledge, but sometimes it's information overload! We talked about a heart transplant and I'm not even at that point yet! We didn't talk much about the lung nodules that he was keeping an eye on but he did say there appeared to be no inflammation.

The doctor was excellent. The Consultation was very thorough. I did not feel rushed at all. He addressed all my questions and concerns and was extremely helpful.

They were good about calling me back with information I requested about costs of my vaccine. Dr. Mawhorter was very informative as always about the risks of infection traveling to Belize. He is personable and thorough. His instructions and care helped greatly when a friend became ill in the Galapagos on a small ship. Following his suggestions, I rehydrated her with G2, started antibiotics, which saved the trip. Also in the Amazon having treated our clothes with Pyrethrin, not one of the swarms of mosquitos even landed on us, and we were safe with malaria prophylaxis medication. Can't say enough good things about his care!
