Teresa Dews is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital. In this role, she leads the hospital’s teams to advance the mission and vision of Cleveland Clinic by implementing the strategic goals of the organization. She also maintains a thriving medical practice, specializing in interventional pain management at Cleveland Clinic.

Previously, Dr. Dews was the Chief Medical Officer of Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital and Vice Chair of the Pain Management Department. She has also served as the Medical Director of the main campus and the Hillcrest Hospital Pain Management Centers. She was the Physician Advisor in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

Dr. Dews graduated from Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in anesthesiology and a pain management fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. 

Dr. Dews has published on several topics, including medication management for pain. She serves on the Board of Directors for Case Western Reserve University Medical Alumni, the Center for Health Affairs, Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, the Saint Luke’s Foundation and Cuyahoga Community College Board of Visitors. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the World Institute of Pain and the Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists.
