1st time colonoscopy. Dr Rizk introduced himself before my procedure with a very calm & gentle bedside manner. As a nurse myself who works in-patient, it was very hard to be the one in the hospital gown. Dr Rizk answered my questions, validated my anxiety, and kindly offered genuine reassurance. Excellent bedside manner! I was very grateful to be treated so kindly. My procedure was effortless. Everything went well and I felt I had proper sedation/pain control without being overly sedated or sick. Plus, doc removed a polyp that could've potentially caused cancer down the road. I will now highly recommend folks go get their colonoscopies done! Thank you!

I live in Youngstown and was not happy with the care/lack of concern that I was receiving from my gastrointestinal doctor. I decided that I needed to go to the clinic and after just one visit with Dr Rizk I knew it was the right decision. While I do not mind an in person appointment, for this particular condition, in person is not really necessary. The ease of setting up this appointment and meeting was very helpful since I am about 45 minutes from Dr. Rizk's office.

I have had colonoscopies performed by more than one doctor over the years. How you feel after the procedure has a great deal to do with the doctor performing it. I've had an unpleasant experience after the procedure with other doctors but never when Dr. Rizk performs the colonoscopy. Every procedure has gone smoothly and with little discomfort afterwards when he has performed it. I ask specifically for him for my procedure, my wife asks specifically for him, we've recommended him to others as well. He's the best!
