F. Scott Ross is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston Hospital. In this role, Dr. Ross directs, coordinates and evaluates hospital operations to ensure high-quality patient care, fiscal responsibility, operational efficiency, integrity and comprehensive health services. He also helps develop new relationships with large healthcare systems and enhance the hospital’s network of allies in Central and South America and Abu Dhabi.

Previously, Dr. Ross was Chair of the Cleveland Clinic Florida Weston Hospital Medicine Department. Prior to attending medical school, his experience included sales and operations management and owning a business.

Dr. Ross graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. He completed an internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston Hospital.

Dr. Ross is on the faculty at Florida Atlantic University Schmidt College of Medicine and Florida International University. He also develops curriculum and mentors students at his alma mater. Dr. Ross has received numerous awards and recognition, including the Cleveland Clinic Nightingale Physician Collaboration Award in 2013 and 2016, Cleveland Clinic Clinician of the Year in 2015 and the Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency Physician of the Year Award in 2020.
