Timothy Crone is Vice President of Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. As Vice President, Dr. Crone focuses on clinical and operational integration, strategic planning, actively growing service lines, as well as developing effective relationships with Cleveland Clinic clinical institutes and private practice providers in Ohio.
Previously, Dr. Crone served as Vice Chair of Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Hospital Medicine, Medical Director of Enterprise Analytics and Medical Operations and Chief Medical Officer of Hillcrest Hospital.
Dr. Crone earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and his master’s in business administration from Ohio University College of Business. He completed his healthcare strategy fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. He also completed Harvard Business School’s Physician Leadership Academy program.
Dr. Crone is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a senior fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is an executive committee member of the Stark County Economic Development Board, as well as a member of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Canton Medical Education boards of directors.
