North Ridgeville Trike & Bike

Are you ready to ride? Intended for ages 3-12, Trike & Bike is a fun introduction to the world of fundraising, fitness, and philanthropy. This event gives older children the opportunity to ride their bikes around a large loop, while younger riders can ride their tricycles and striders in a “tot lot”.

Upon registration, children will receive their own Personal Fundraising Page and a goal of $25. On this page, they can share why they are riding and add updates and photos. 100% of the dollars raised by participants supports pediatric cancer research at Cleveland Clinic Children’s.

Raising Hope One Glass at a Time

Hosted by oncology staff members from Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital, this casual afternoon open house features wine and beer samplings, appetizers, beverages and desserts. Raising Hope also includes live music from The Adjustments, gift basket raffle and 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event are used by oncology staff to improve patient care and outcomes. Examples include pharmacy co-payments for patients in need, treatment milestone celebrations and additional patient care “extras”.

Last Call to Make It Rain

Pinecrest Wine Festival

Join us for the first ever Pinecrest Wine Festival. Part of the main road going through Pinecrest will be closed as we take over the area and bring in over 100 different wines to try. There will be a handful of beer vendors and spirits vendors as well. A portion of proceeds will benefit Cleveland Clinic Children’s.

Brakes for Breasts

Date: October 1 - 31, 2019

During October, auto repair shops across the United States will offer free brake pads to their customers. For every brake service performed at one of our participating shops, customers will receive their brake pads for free and just pay for the labor and other parts. Each shop will donate 10% of that brake service to Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.

Crosse Out Cancer

On Saturday, October 5, Burning River Lacrosse is hosting its 10th annual Crosse Out Cancer fundraiser at the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village Sports Complex. This college lacrosse showcase will benefit the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at Cleveland Clinic.

Head for the Cure - Cleveland 5K

Join us at the Head for the Cure 5k at Edgewater Park to raise awareness and funding to aspire hope for the community of brain cancer patients, their families, friends and caregivers and other supporters. A portion of proceeds from the 5k will support the Rose Ella Burkhardt Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center at Cleveland Clinic.

The Social: An Evening of Hope

Never Forget Nolan James

In honor of Infant Loss Awareness Month, and our son Nolan James, this reverse raffle/fundraiser will benefit the NICU at Cleveland Clinic Children's. Our goal is to raise enough money for the NICU to purchase a special piece of equipment to help care for these special babies, like Nolan!

Each ticket is $40 and it will double as a single entry into the reverse raffle with a grand prize of $1500. A catered dinner and open bar are also included.

Additional raffle tickets will be for sale at the event, for a chance to win gift baskets and other prizes.

The Transplant Center cares for patients from all over the world so it is important to have funds available to provide assistance to transplant patients in need as well as increase awareness about transplant and the need for organ donors.

Cleveland Indians and HOMAGE are partnering on a Carlos “Cookie” Carrasco T-shirt to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at Cleveland Clinic Children’s.

The “I Stand for Cookie” shirt design was inspired by the touching Stand Up To Cancer moment during the 5th inning of the 2019 Midsummer Classic. A percentage of all proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be donated to Cleveland Clinic Children’s for pediatric cancer research.

Strike Out Pediatric Cancer

Your local Chick-Fil-A restaurants in Akron, Canton and Cleveland have partnered with the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Clinic Children’s to Strike Out Pediatric Cancer. Come in for breakfast before 10:30 a.m. from September 9 to 21, and a portion of the proceeds will go to VeloSano Kids to help young cancer patients.

Scrub it Forward
